The smoothly swept claws were borrowed from our 999 Rip Hammer, and the extra large striking face, hatchet eye and sturdy handle are a heritage of our Rigbuilder's Hatchet.The hatchet style handle is best grade, second growth hickory. To provide extra strength, the handle has a large cross section where it joins the fully polished head.
