Aheadset TD1 Traditional Headset
Aheadset was spawned with one goal in mind; minimize the number of unique parts in order to maximize interchangeability among headset configurations. To accomplish this, Aheadset created a certain commonality amongst parts, making the Aheadset system adaptable to a number of unique headset configurations. From traditional models to ZeroStack for threaded or threadless 1"" or 1 1/8"" models, the Aheadset system features 21 unique parts that enable 11 unique headset arrangements to solve almost all fitting issues. Aheadset TD1 Traditional Headset Aheadset's TD 1"" headset features a distinctive, yet highly functional and user-friendly adjusting cone design that uses either a standard external bottom bracket wrench or a hook spanner tool for making adjustments. If neither tool is available, the adjusting cone can be tweaked by hand. The TD1 locknut features large 32mm wrench flats to ensure a familiar 10"" adjustable wrench can be used. To provide fortification from contaminates and increase the TD1's life expectancy, the cups and cones work together with an innovative LubeAlarm o-ring that audibly alerts the rider when more grease is needed.
